My two week drive through Morocco with two friends was filled with terrifying mountain roads, incredible views, a few run-ins with the police… and plenty of singing.
**This playlist has been thoroughly tested by singing along raucously while driving precariously along one of the world’s most dangerous roads**
- Midnight City – M83
- Left Hand Free – Alt-J
- I’m Sick – The Beverly Chills
- Rebel Rebel – David Bowie
- End of the World – Deap Vally
- Queens of Noise – The Runaways
- The Real Slim Shady – Eminem
- Crimson & Clover – Joan Jett
- Dani California – The Red Hot Chilli Peppers
- Wetsuit – The Vaccines
- Sultans of Swing – Dire Straits
- Fantastic Man – William Onyeabor
- Desolation Row – Bob Dylan
- Free Bird – Lynyrd Skynyrd
- We Play the Music – Ed Solo
- Bette Davis Eyes – Kim Carnes
- Feel Good Inc. – Gorillaz
- Never Mind – Dizraeli
- I Hate Myself – Slamboree
- Running From Love – Freddy Cruger
Some tracks I know, others I don’t, but the ones I know – Freebird, Sultans of Swing, Rebel Rebel – usually come with one piece of advice.
Turn up to 11!

May well put a playlist of my own on wisepacking.me tommorow…
Suspect Hey Ya by OutKast featuring Andre 3000 will be on there along with Ace Of Spades by Motorhead and Street Fighting Man by Rolling Stones…

Oh forgot about Hey Ya, that’s a favourite party song! I’ll check out your playlist when it’s up!

Awesome playlist!
For us, there would be “America – A Horse With No Name” and “Vance Joy – Riptide” missing, though 😀

Thank you! We did, it was brilliant. Would love to do it again but spend more time further north; Chefchaouen was our favourite place. Maybe one day!

Hah. Different generations. Your list is a bit different than mine: http://wp.me/pH6ZJ-5jU. Rock on.

Liking the CCR and Nat King Cole! With a bit more thought we definitely could have put more classics in there, but we’ve included a couple of gems.

Thank you for dropping a like at my previous blog post! It means a lot to me! 🙂 I have to admit, I only know a handful of these songs. After reading the list however, I did have a strong urge to put on ‘Free Bird’.

Free Bird’s Naomi’s favourite song, good choice 🙂 And it’s great having a new list of songs to listen to, there’s so many out there to stumble upon!

She has a good taste! For me, there lingers some nostalgia behind that song, reminding me of my childhood. You’re definitely right there, my playlist is way too huge

Haha ours could have gone on forever, just had to pick a well-rounded selection. If you write up your own send it our way 🙂

That will be very difficult for me.. A playlist of 650+ songs with genres going from soft rock to heavy metal, country to jazz, reggae to rap and a bit of classical here and there..

Haha… Top 10 of each genre?

Hahaha, you know what, I could try to make a top 10 of songs.

There you go, a challenge for you! Haha and let us know when you complete it so we can have a listen too.

I will most definitely! 😉 Thank you for the challenge

1. Monster – Skillet
2. Hanging by a moment – Lifehouse
3. One last breath – Creed
4. Hotel California – Eagles
5. God’s gonna cut you down – Johnny Cash
6. Dance of Death – Iron Maiden
7. Sweet Child O’ Mine – Guns ‘n Roses
8. Demons – Imagine Dragons
9. 1952 Vincent Black Lightning – Richard Thompson
10. Enter Sandman – Metallica
Now this is my list based on songs that I like to listen to today and tomorrow, in a week and most likely in a year. Songs that I could play on a repeat. I chose to not have more than one song of one band/singer. Would it be different, might be you would find repetition. I chose not to have a favourite song, so these are 10 favourite songs, not a top 10 ranking them. I hope you find pleasure in some as well. This has been one of the hardest things in my life!

Haha well done! Brilliant list. Haven’t heard of a couple of these so will put them on now, so thanks for the new listening!

Great adventure, and some good, oldie songs on that list. This reminds me that I’m very lacking in the music department when doing activities. My wife is the polar opposite in this case, and reminds me of that.

Everything’s better with music, especially if you can dance to it.
